Senators of Uzbekistan approved a law granting the parliamentary opposition additional guaranteed rights, including the right to propose alternative versions of draft legislation and to raise at least one question each quarter during the “government hour” sessions. Charter flights from Tashkent will be gradually relocated to the new business aviation airport Tashkent-East. It will become the first air hub in Uzbekistan capable of handling flights even in zero visibility conditions, head of Uzbekistan Airways said. Uzbekistan and China are working on projects in green energy, oil and gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, mining, logistics and smart agriculture. The heads of states also stressed the importance of speeding up construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway. |
