Vinny Tierney is guest performer at the Acoustic Club at the White House Bar in Limerick city on Thursday, 2 July.

Vinny Tierneyhas been writing song's for about six years. His influences range from 1920's jazz and big band and ends up in current artists like Aphextwin or Mick Flannery. Renounded for his ear catching melodies Vinny songs reflect real life and some of them have a topical bent to them.

The Acoustic Club is a live music venue presenting local, independent and nationally touring performers. It is a non-profit run gig, 100% volunteer operated and based at the White House Bar, O'Connel St, Limerick. The Acoustic Club takes place every Thursday from 9.00pm.

All aspiring songwriters, musicians and singers are invited to attend and play in front of a live audience. All types of music and singers are welcome.

The evening features performers doing short sets of two or three songs and a ‘Special Guest’ slot where an established performer will perform a set. Host for the evening is songwriter Sean MacLeod. The Acoustic Club has become a regular feature of the live music scene in Limerick.
