Like to meet St. Doulagh on Culture Night ?

Would you like to meet St. Doulagh on Culture Night? It takes place on Friday 22 September in St. Doulagh's Church, Ireland's oldest church still in continuous use as a Centre of Christian Worship (circa 7th. cent.) 

St. Doulagh's is located on Malahide Road (R107) at Balgriffin, Dublin.

We will be open with a Varied Programme of Talks, Guided Tours, Audio Visual Tours, and Music.from 5.pm until 10.pm.

He has been known to make an appearance from time to time as he strolls around the grounds, or looks out of his Hermits Cell.at night.

Make your way by Walking, Cycling,Bus or Taxi, or by Donkey & Cart if you have one. We have plenty of grass for the Donkey. Be prepared to travel back in time from the 21st. century to the 6th. century.

No school on the 23rd.so treat all of your family from your Great, Great, Grandparents, to your youngest child,  to a night of fun and laughter.

At 8pm. there will be a talk on the Holy Well's of Ireland by Gary Brannigan" author of the book The Holy Well' s of Dublin. There will be time for Q & A. after the Talk. If required, other tours will take place if required.
