The below sequence of pictures was taken on Saturday afternoon, 21 Aug 2010 in Thomas Street, Limerick.
The dog's owner decided to do some shopping in Brown-Thomas. But her loved pet .... ?

As you can see, its raining, its now 3.45pm on a Saturday and I'm chained to this post	4:30pm: What have I done wrong? I can't even shelter from the rain under the tree.	4:40pm: It's nice to see considerate folk, some of them puzzled and a little upset that I'm here like this.
4:45pm: Still raining and this lady seemed so concerned	4:50pm: At least its stopped raining now	4:55pm: ...and the sun is coming out
5:00pm: what can I say? She asks me why I am here, and dug some meat out of her shopping bag for me	5:05pm: she doesn't seem to want to go away	5:10pm: She's nice, wish she wouldn't sound so upset
5:15pm: The street cleaner wants to know what is going on...	5:17pm: She pointed out that I have a name tag on my collar	5:19pm: He's taklng a note of my details
5:21pm: he's gone off into the shop I'm standing outside.	5:25pm: He's back, and taking some more details and writing something on a piece of paper	5:30pm: He said he's going back into the shop again
5:33pm: Lots of nice people walking by ...	5:35pm: I'm so fed up of waiting here. I'm thirsty and cold from the wet	5:40pm: at last, she's back. I was beginning to think she'd never get back.
5:45pm: I'm glad she's back...	5:46pm: ... but ...	5:47pm: Does she really deserve me ?
