Uzbekistan’s U-17 national football team was drawn into Group J for the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar. The team will open the tournament with a match against Paraguay. “There are no weak opponents, but we’re not here to make up the numbers either,” head coach Islombek Ismailov said. Large Mall of Uzbekistan shopping centers, selling exclusively national textile and leather goods, will be established across the country, president announced. A National Brands Support Company will also be launched to certify quality and promote these products abroad. Prime minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni will visit Samarkand on 28−29 May, a month after the trip was postponed due to the death of Pope Francis. |
